Book Cake Tag

#tagtuesday! This week I’ll be doing the Book Cake Tag, and I’m super excited. ENJOY😅
FLOUR- A BOOK THAT WAS A LITTLE SLOW TO START OFF BUT THAT REALLY PICKED UP AS IT WENT ALONG

A Pair of Docks by Jennifer Ellis. At first, I was confused and a little bored, since it’s the first in an urban fantasy series, and you had to be introduced into the confusing world of time traveling. But it started to pick up in the best way possible! If you haven’t checked out this series, I would definitely recommend it, and I thoroughly enjoyed these books!

MARGARINE- A BOOK THAT HAD A REALLY RICH AND GREAT PLOT

I would say the Hunger Games, but my heart is still healing, and even the thought brings tears to my eyes. So instead I’m choosing Hollow City by Ransom Riggs. The plot was SO original, and I have never heard or read anything like it. It was a solid 5 ⭐️ read for me.

EGGS- A BOOK YOU THOUGHT WAS GOING TO BE BAD BUT ACTUALLY TURNED OUT QUITE ENJOYABLE

Searching For Sky by Jillian Cantor. I was basically just reading this to get a short book marked off my TBR, but it ended up being amazing! I was astounded by how much it made me feel. Even though it was extremely sad, it was still super enjoyable.

SUGAR- A SUGARY/SWEET BOOK

What Light by Jay Asher was such a light and fluffy read! I loved it so much, because I’m obviously a sucker for good romances.

ICING- A BOOK THAT COVERED EVERY SINGLE ELEMENT THAT YOU ENJOY IN A BOOK (FUNNY MOMENTS, ACTION MOMENTS, SAD MOMENTS, etc.)

Harry Potter, DUH! I love everything about Harry Potter: it’s fantasy, worldbuilding, characters, make-believe, etc.

SPRINKLES- A BOOK SERIES THAT YOU CAN KIND OF TURN TO FOR A LITTLE PICK ME UP WHEN YOURE FEELING DOWN

This might be cheating, but there’s literally no other book/series that fits this description except Harry Potter (besides the Bible). HP is always there for me when I’m feeling down, and it always makes me happy.

THE CHERRY ON TOP- YOUR FAVORITE BOOK THIS YEAR SO FAR

This was the year I finally joined The Hunger Games fandom, and I cannot express my love towards this series. It was the second best series I’ve EVER. Wjsjdssjwken WHAT THE EVEN HECK IT WAS SO PHENOMENAL
